Omigosh omigosh omigosh I know I shouldnt be here now but uh I have a strong feeling of wanting to blog about today! It is chao fun today....almost kay haha. A really chao HIGH day =D.

Skipping lessons for performance, playing well, getting award =DDDDDD.

Whoots! We left class at around 9am today and changed into our concert attire, have breakfast and went to band room. Quite a lot of people were already there la haha. Then we got ready, wore/took blazer and rush down to fall in. It was slack as our instruments were already at nus(ucc).

The ride to nus was mainly just chatting and playing charade lmao, guessing drama serials haha. Oh and reading nice notes from jaz haha. When we reaced there, we set up and rehearsed ... blah blah blah, lunch, much of slacking.....

Finally it was the performance. Okay we were the first item so we sat on stage and waited. We werent allowed to do anything except blowing hot air into our instruments so that they will stay "workable" yeap. It was quite fun, to do signs and guess what some people are trying to tell you, lol...jh wanted tissue haha. Then smiling at people wishing them goodluck and enjoying music!!! There was a horn concerto and it was nice...played on cd in the hall la haha.

Soon we played...we started off not so well, but it turned out great in the end! =D. Everyone was quite in tune then most parts were played very very in tunely. HAha. Ask jaz and you'll know. The part she n sx played was chao nice lol...then a trumpet part also...haha. Practically everyone was HIGH after the performance as we did well^^.

Later we packed up and went to the circle seats behind a few other schools to continue watching the presentation. The were speeches which were erm...haha...then two dance performances. The first one was really nice, a combination of chi, malay and indian dances. I like the soloist chi dancer, she did a split stading on top of some guys holding her...so pro right!

The second one was total chinese and erm it reminded me of some stuff haha. Kay it is not important, but everyone did well =D. Soon it came to the awards. there were supposedly 37 schools taking part in this award, with one gold, five silvers, seven bronze if I'm not wrong, 3 coa and the rest cop.

The results were announced in alphabetical order, as in the schools. So everyone was really hoping we would get gold, especially mrs wong, who also made us want to get gold lol. Basically we were sitting in this way>>nic me jaz sx jas jh. Then nic was pulling my sleeve saying "please get gold please get gold" or sth like that. Then jaz was like muttering "get gold get gold" also...the rest I dont know la haha.

Cop: ............ when the alphabet went over dhs we were very relieved.
Coa: ............ when it was over people were thinking "oh yeah next silver", but they didnt know it was not bronze yet haha so they got a little disappointed.
Bronze: ....... everyone cheered a lot louder when it went over us.
Silver: .......... "ang mo kio sec" why must the schools start frm a, why cant it be e or f or sth haha. "chung cheng high main" omg omg. "cresent girls" WA. "deyi sec" OMG NOT YET OVER!!! "Raffles ___ " we were cheering too loudly to be heard. OMG HAHAHHA.
Gold: "Dunman High School!" *cheers extremely loud* think mrs wong cried also haha...then we sang our sch song before we left also.

Btw, to all the other schs sitting right in front of us:
So sorry that we irritated you all by screaming so loudly...we were overjoyed, thats all, we have never clinched a gold for this award I thnk, therefore yeah. We are enthusiastic people =D and we love our school.

So yeah...everyone was chao chao chao chao high, we ate at the reception (cept qy she was afraid of fat haha). Suddenly some teacher came to tell mrs wong the press wanted to take a picture of us so we had to go get our instruments. Omg haha...we were like O_O wow. Then we had to finish our food within 2min to rush to get our instruments lmao.

Rush rush rush, then we took the pic under the hot sun =.=. In our blazers =.=. Right. We beared for the 10min or so. But the cameramen liked the award too much so they focused on it yeah haha.

Whoots. I love bus rides. Its always with my dear section. We have fun together, and share woes too. Yeaps. So we chatted on the way back, still very high yeah erm yeah. Right. I only remember happy things today and not the unhappy things ya.....haha. Super Duper Chao High. Yeah this post is practically for me to be sharing my joy whoo. It might sound a bit =.= to you haha but I dont care. Lol.

mmm....hopefully everyone is like me, remembering only the happy memories. So yeah.

Dont get too upset yeah? We had lotsa fun today! I am sure you love it too hahaha.....you got to take pics close to *erhem* too right! HAhahaha.....lols...this note to you isnt suppose to be teasing you de HAHA...oh well, cheer up. You played so in tune also...and we got so high whoo! So stay happy and may our section be always this bonded^^.

Yay....finally finish this post...hopefully I didnt miss our any good parts of the day whoo. GOLD award WHOO. I am just too elated! I am gay wahahahaha.....rofl. Ohno, now the bad part, gotta cramp everything into my head...zzz...bet I would fail my sci test tmr...anw, GOOD LUCK to all Cushkians =D.
